What I walked into
A single page with one job: take a whitelist registration and relay it to Telegram.
The Telegram client was constructed at module scope with polling: { autoStart: true }, which starts an unbounded getUpdates loop per instance and made next build itself dial Telegram.
What I changed, and why
Pollingless
The relay was rewritten without polling, so no instance starts a getUpdates loop and the build no longer dials Telegram.
Two routers, each for its job
App Router serves the page statically, and Pages Router serves the one API route as a function.
A limit that is written down
The route allows 5 requests a minute and answers with one of six documented response codes.
The original made next build itself dial Telegram.
Where it landed
The page is served statically, and a whitelist registration reaches Telegram through one function-backed route.
The unbounded polling loop is gone, and the route has a 5 requests a minute limit with a documented six-code response contract.
